Steel coil as main differences between hot-rolled and cold-rolled

These are manufactured by heating the steel slab above its recrystallization temperature and passing it through a series of rolling mills. This process results in a product with a rough surface finish and a slightly rounded edge.
Cold-rolled steel coil:
They are produced by further processing hot-rolled coils through a series of cold-rolling mills. This process involves reducing the thickness of the steel and improving its surface finish. Cold-rolled steel coil have a smoother surface, tighter tolerances, and a more precise dimension compared to hot-rolled.
